Congressional App Challenge
Rep. Levin is pleased to announce that our office is hosting a 2021 Congressional App Challenge. The Congressional App Challenge is a competition aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications. The Challenge is intended to highlight the value of computer science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education.
The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students in the 49th Congressional District of California. The Challenge’s submission portal is now open and students are encouraged to register online by September 10th. Students entering the competition must submit their app to CongressionalAppChallenge.us during the Competition Submission Period through November 1st, 2021.
The winner from the 49th Congressional District, chosen by a panel of expert judges, will be featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.us. The winning app will also be eligible to be on display in the U.S. Capitol, honoring the winners from across the country.
