Join my upcoming town hall

Dear Neighbor,

I hope you had a great weekend! There’s been a lot happening in Washington and across our district, so I want to share some updates on my work for you. Plus, we’re having another town hall this Wednesday evening - see below for more details on how to participate!

Join my Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday

As we work to build our economy back stronger from this pandemic, I know that caring for children and other loved ones is a significant obstacle to getting people back to work. We must invest in child care and other caregiving services that are affordable to help get Americans back to work, create good-paying jobs, and grow our economy for everyone.

That’s what I’m going to focus on during my virtual town hall this Wednesday, June 9th, at 7:00pm PT. I’ll be joined by Jodi Diamond, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside, who will help answer your questions about the need for caregiving services.

To participate in the town hall, all you have to do is visit my TwitterFacebook, or YouTube pages at 7:00pm PT on Wednesday to watch LIVE.

You can submit a question for me by filling out this form.

You can also listen to previous town halls on my podcast, Listening with Levin. Check out all of the episodes here!

American Rescue Plan Providing Relief for Veterans

I am pleased to highlight the many ways the American Rescue Plan can serve our local veteran community. Last week, I held a press conference with San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and VA San Diego Healthcare System Director, Dr. Robert Smith to make sure our veterans know what resources are available to them.

Check out the coverage from the San Diego Union-Tribune here, and visit my website to learn more about how my office can help local veterans get the benefits and services they earned.
