I unequivocally condemn Hamas's attack on Israeli civilians, which has included the kidnapping and killing of children and seniors in their homes. The world must stand with Israel as it protects its people. I know that the U.S. Congress will. |

I was disappointed to learn in a recent report that some of our servicemembers are living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. This is completely unacceptable and is no way to treat those who serve our country. In response, I wrote a letter to the Department of Defense urging them to take swift action to improve living conditions. Read my letter here. |

That’s why earlier this month, I was honored to host Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra to mark Hispanic Heritage Month and announce $333,000 in new funding for the Bridges2Health program to help Latinos in Vista apply for health insurance coverage and access health services to improve quality of life.
